Domagoj Vrgoč

Assistant Professor at the Institute of Mathematical and Computational Engineering of the Pontificia Universidad Católica. PhD in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. His areas of interest are databases, the semantic web, and computation theory. His doctoral thesis was recognized by the British Computing Society as one of the best of its generation. He has served on the program committees of renowned international conferences such as AAAI, ESWC, ICDT, IJCAI, ISWC, PODS, and WWW, among others. He was recently recognized with the 2026 Alonzo Church Award, together with other IMFD researchers.
