Domagoj Vrgoč is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Mathematical and Computational Engineering, at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He obtained his PhD at the University of Edinburgh in 2014. His doctoral dissertation was highly commended in the British Computing Society Distinguished Dissertation Award as one of the best of his generation. He was a member of the program committee of leading international conferences such as AAAI, ESWC, ICDT, IJCAI, ISWC, PODS and WWW, among others. His areas of interest are Databases, Semantic Web, and Theory of Computation.
