Director at the Department of Computer Science of the Universidad de Talca. He received the degree of Bachelor in Systems Engineering from Universidad Católica de Santa María (Arequipa, Perú), and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Chile. During 2013, he carried out postdoctoral research at the VU University Amsterdam, and participated in the European Project “Linked Data Benchmark Council (LDBC)”. His research works are in the intersection of graph databases and the Semantic Web. His current specialties are the theory and design of graph query languages and the analysis of protein data.
