ABSTRACT:
Seminarios DCC UC: Responsible AI
In the first part we enumerate the current problems with machine learning and big data and its impact in society with many examples that cover discrimination, phrenology, stupidity and waste of resources. In the second part, we cover AI ethics and regulation initiatives as well as cultural challenges. Finally, we outline our professional biases and what can we do to achieve responsible AI.
