Online Book Club – IMFD – ODEGI

We invite you to participate in the second version of the IMFD – ODEGI online Book Club, in which we will discuss The Invisible Woman, by Caroline Criado Pérez.

Just as there is a wage gap, the book brings to light the existence of a data gap: information marked by a male bias, used to define health parameters, design mass consumption products or approve drugs, among many other actions that impact the quality of life of women.

In each meeting we will analyze three chapters of the book, in a conversation moderated by Jocelyn Dunstan Escudero, Computer Science and IMC UC academic, together with Daniela Moyano, UC Design academic and co-founder of ODEGI.

The first session will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 17.00 hours, that same day, a few minutes before, you will receive the zoom link to join the session.

First Session:

– Preface

– Introduction

– Part I: Daily life
