Exploring the archives of memory in Chile (1973-1990): an engineering perspective
The massive analysis of historical archives contains multiple challenges, such as the quality of the images, how to use information in different formats, detection of key information or how to find relationships between people, places and dates.
In this seminar, we will explain our motivations on this topic and how computer science can support the work being done in the social sciences and humanities.
📆Date: Tuesday, June 25.
🕐Time: 12.45 p.m.
