RENCA | Disinformation on social networks: how to protect yourself from deception

The Millennium Nucleus on Digital Inequalities and Opportunities (NUDOS) met with the Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data (IMFD) to conduct educational workshops on misinformation in different parts of the country.

Starting in the second week of January, we will hold six free workshops aimed at seniors who want to learn how to identify scams and fake news coming through social networks.

📍 Where? The activity will be face-to-face and will be held in the municipalities of Renca (January 16), San Antonio (January 18), Requínoa (January 24), Olivar (January 24), Santa Juana (January 30) and Talcahuano (January 31).

➡️ The only requirement is to be over 60 years of age and to live in one of the above-mentioned municipalities.

➡️ Spaces are limited with prior registration: the link is in the biography of our social networks.
