Abstract
Organized by the IDI Consortium and which will feature the outstanding presentations of Emma Gordon and Bill South, renowned British experts and directors of the system of access to administrative data in the United Kingdom, Administrative Data Research UK – ADR UK. On this occasion, they will provide a detailed overview of the British experience in the use of administrative data through cases and applications in public policy areas such as health, education, and public safety.
This seminar has the valuable sponsorship of the British Embassy in Santiago and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile, as well as the support of the universities and research centers that make up the IDI Consortium.
The IDI Consortium is an initiative integrated by Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad de Chile, and Universidad Diego Portales with the objective of promoting an integrated data infrastructure in Chile. The Consortium operates through the UAI School of Government; the UC Center for Surveys and Longitudinal Studies; the Millennium Institute Fundamentals of Data (IMFD); and the Center for the Study of Conflict and Social Cohesion (COES).
When and where
The seminar will be held on Thursday, May 16, between 09:00 and 13:00 hours, at the facilities of the Faculty of Administration and Economics of the Universidad Diego Portales, located at Av. Santa Clara 797, Huechuraba, Santiago, Chile.
