Cenia Seminars - IA La: Large Language Models in Crisis Informatics
We invite you to participate in the National Center for Artificial Intelligence, taught by Cinthia Sanchez, PhD student in Computer Science at DCC UChile and IMFD, who will present the research Large Language Models in Crisis Informatics.
ABSTRACT
Crisis Informatics develops studies and tools to support emergency management based on information from social networks. This research seeks to expand the scope of automated analysis on these platforms through natural language processing and machine learning. In this talk, we will explore various approaches, including how large linguistic models (LLMs) can power message categorization in resource-constrained scenarios.
Speaker: Cinthia Sanchez, PhD student in Computer Science, Universidad de Chile and student at the Millennium Institute Fundamentals of Computer Science and Computer Science
