Marcelo Mendoza

Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, P. Universidad Católica de Chile, PhD in Engineering Sciences with a Mention in Computer Science from Universidad de Chile (2007). He worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Yahoo! Research. He has been president of the Chilean Association for Pattern Recognition (ACHIRP) since 2015. His research interests include text mining, information retrieval, and data mining in social networks.
