Successful start of the new Espacio IMFD cycle

April, 2024. With more than 30 attendees, the Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data kicked off the new IMFD Spacea series of activities that will combine research seminars, lectures, discussions and other activities. This cycle aims to promote the interdisciplinary research that characterizes the IMFD and also to generate activities that support and encourage IMFD students to position themselves in the world of academia.

The Conversation: Publish or Perish: strategies for academic publishing.was moderated by the IMFD researcher Magdalena SaldañaFaculty of Communications UC, and counted with the participation of the IMFD researchers Gonzalo NavarroDCC U. The IMFD Space is an initiative of the IMFD Academic Direction, and it is expected to hold one session per month, in which different topics of interest to both researchers and students of the institute will be addressed.
