Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Universidade da Coruña (Spain) within the Database Laboratory. He received a PhD in Computer Science from the same university. His research focused on the compact representation of spatio-temporal data and the algorithms necessary for its exploitation. He is currently a Research Collaborator at the Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data. His areas of interest are compact data structures, algorithms, and databases.
