Andrés Carvallo

D. in Engineering, with a major in Computer Science from Pontificia Universidad Católica. His areas of interest are information retrieval, text mining, recommender systems and development of machine learning algorithms with visual explanations. His thesis project is related to the automatic and explainable review of medical papers to improve efficiency in the practice of evidence-based medicine. He is currently part of IALab and SocVis research labs.
