Bryan Castillo
A graduate of Geography at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2018), he participated as a technical assistant at IMFD since the same year in project 3, Data for the study of multivariate social problems together with Juan Pablo Luna and Sergio Toro.
His work experience is based in the academic world as a technical and research assistant in different projects, including Fondecyts, he has worked (2019-2021) as a research assistant for the Center for Sustainable Urban Development (CEDEUS), where he achieved some publications with Giovanni Vecchio and Stefan Steiniger on urban mobility issues. Finally, in addition to the IMFD, he participated with Juan Pablo Luna in international projects such as C2M2 (Cities Covid Mitigation Mapping) of the Department of State of the United States. His personal interests are based on visual arts and sciences, in this last area I have dedicated myself to learn how to use computational tools, which allow me to work in quantitative methods.
