Claudio Gutierrez

Professor at the University of Chile in the Department of Computer Science and senior researcher at Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data. He holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Chile, a Master's degree in Mathematical Logic from the Catholic University of Chile, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Wesleyan University, United States. He works in the area of databases, logic, and semantics of data on the web. He has published more than a hundred articles in the field, edited and written several books, and received various international awards. He has developed several public data projects for Chile. He is currently researching the fundamentals of data, open data, knowledge graphs, and new languages for querying them.
