Claudio Gutiérrez

Full Professor at Universidad de Chile in the Department of Computer Science and senior researcher at the Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data (IMFD). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Universidad de Chile, a Master’s degree in Mathematical Logic from Universidad Católica de Chile, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Wesleyan University, United States. He works in the area of databases, logic, and web data semantics. He has published more than a hundred articles in the field, edited and written several books, and received various international recognitions. He has developed several public data projects for Chile. He is currently researching the foundations of data, open data, knowledge graphs, and new query languages for them.
