Marcelo Mendoza

Associate professor in the Department of Computer Science. P. Catholic University of Chile, Doctor of Engineering Sciences with a specialization in Computing from the University of Chile (2007). He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Yahoo! Research. He has been president of the Chilean Association for Pattern Recognition (ACHIRP) since 2015. His areas of research interest are text mining, information retrieval, and data mining in social networks.
