Raimundo Herrera
Master in Engineering Sciences and professor of Databases at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His areas of interest are cryptography, indexing, cryptocurrencies, blockchain and web development, among others. In his thesis he researched and proposed ways to accelerate the computation of user balance in the cryptocurrency Monero, while maintaining essential cryptographic properties. Additionally, he is a developer at Platanus since 2018, where they build digital products and accompany early stage startups.
