Raimundo Herrera

Master’s in Engineering Sciences and instructor of the Databases course at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His areas of interest include cryptography, indexing, cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and web development, among others. In his thesis, he researched and proposed ways to speed up the computation of user balances in the Monero cryptocurrency while maintaining essential cryptographic properties. Additionally, he has been a developer at Platanus since 2018, where they build digital products and support early-stage startups.
