Sebastian Ferrada

Assistant Professor of the Data and Artificial Intelligence Initiative at the University of Chile and collaborating researcher at the Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data (IMFD). He received his PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Chile in 2021 and did a postdoc at Linköping University in Sweden. His research revolves around knowledge graphs and includes their construction, modeling and generation; their management, querying and interoperability; and their applications in the field of artificial intelligence and data science. His interests also include applications of databases, graphs and artificial intelligence in other domains such as Internet networks, social phenomena, and astronomy. He has received the Best Resources Track Student Paper Award at ISWC 2017 and the Best Paper Award at CoopIS 2023.
