Ph.D. Student of the Program in Statistics of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her areas of interest cover the analysis of survival, Bayesian statistics, and machine learning. Currently, Valeria participates in a journal club where topics related to sampling and modeling in social networks are studied. At the eaves of Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data, she works on topics related to genetic statistics.
