Description: the workshop will address the topic of transparency in times of pandemic, in a context in which the scientific and academic community has been asking the health authority to release data and information in open formats that would allow them to contribute to pandemic management through scientific tools.

The goal of this event is to generate interdisciplinary dialogue regarding access to and processing of data, the contribution of the scientific community to pandemic control, as well as the legitimacy of decisions made to solve public problems, particularly in relation to pandemic control.

Likewise, the topics to be addressed will include transparency and availability of data in open formats, its scientific use, public interest and protection of rights, as well as an analysis of the barriers the scientific community has encountered in accessing information.

Another point to be discussed will be the usefulness of data-based scientific and technological solutions for pandemic control, and the role and challenges facing the CPLT in this context.
