Description: this talk will present the challenges behind Covid-19 data, including both trivial and complex errors that are made (comparison of infections, fatality rate, types of deaths, visual manipulation, among others), the biases of the virus (age, gender) and our own biases (class, digital), ending with the lessons that the pandemic leaves us: errors, imprecision and chaos; temporal paradoxes; the obsession with comparing ourselves; data privacy; and the lack of transparency and quality of the data.
