Launch of the Vincula Platform
Like a social network or app that seeks to connect people with similar interests, Vincula is a platform developed with data intelligence that makes it possible to bring parliamentarians and university experts into contact, with the aim of contributing knowledge to the legislative task.
The platform, which has received support from the Instituto para el Desarrollo Sustentable UC, already has members from 12 Chilean universities and close to 400 academics who will connect with the National Congress for the exchange of knowledge during the law-making process.
The event will feature a presentation by the Director of Research Impact Canada and Assistant VP Research Strategy & Impact at York University, Professor David Phipps, on the topic «Global Perspectives on Research Impact»
Commenting on the presentation in the panel proposals for Chile: What institutions and policies do we need to mobilize knowledge and achieve its impact on society? the Minister of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation, Ms. Aysén Etcheberry, the Vice President for Research of the UC and current president of the CRUCH Research Council, Professor Pedro Bouchon, and Deputy Eric Aedo, President of the Future, Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation Committee of the Chamber of Deputies.
