Artificial Reasoning and ChatGPT

Artificial Reasoning and ChatGPT: Toward a general AI system combining NLP with the ability to simulate human reasoning.

Artificial reasoning is a field of artificial intelligence focused on uncovering the reasoning capabilities of inductive learning models. The emergence of large language models (LLMs) has generated significant interest in this area, mainly due to their surprising emergent reasoning abilities across various types of problems. This talk focuses on illustrating the capabilities and limitations of the artificial reasoning exhibited by models such as ChatGPT, and suggests challenges that must be addressed in order to build a general artificial intelligence system.
