Summer Institute in Computational Social Science (SICSS)

With the goal of bringing together graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career professors interested in computational social science, a new Summer Institute in Computational Social Science (SICSS) will be held from January 21 to 29, 2025, at the San Joaquín Campus of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Organized by the Millennium Institute for Foundational Research on Data (IMFD), the Centro Nacional de Inteligencia Artificial, Ingeniería UDD, Instituto de Sociología UC, DCC UChile, and CRiSS-LAB, the institute offers a comprehensive instructional program that includes lectures, tutorials, hands-on exercises, and research projects led by participants.
