Summer Institute in Computational Social Science (SICSS) - Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data

A new Summer Institute in Computational Social Science (SICSS) will be held at the San Joaquín Campus of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile from January 21 to 29, 2025, with the objective of bringing together graduate students, postdoctoral students and professors in early stages of their careers who are interested in computational social science.

Organized by the Millennium Institute Foundational Research on Data, the National Center for Artificial Intelligence, UDD Engineering, Instituto de Sociología UC, DCC UChile and CRiSS-LAB, the institute offers a comprehensive instructional program that includes lectures, tutorials, practical exercises and participant-led research projects.
