Aidan Hogan

Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chile, PhD in Computer Science from the National University of Ireland. He worked with the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI, Galway, Ireland) as a postdoctoral researcher until 2013, when he accepted a position as an academic at the University of Chile. He is part of the editorial committee of two journals dedicated to the semantic web and has been a member of the program committees of renowned international conferences, such as AAAI, ESWC, ICDT, IJCAI, ISWC, and WWW, among others. The areas of research on which he has focused his work are mainly the semantic web and the study of various web data structures, whether indexing, querying, reasoning, searching, or understanding the relationships between these processes.
