Carla Alberti

Professor at the Institute of Political Science, Pontificia Universidad Católica. PhD in Political Science, Brown University, USA. Her main research area is ethnic politics and indigenous movements in Latin America, with special emphasis on Bolivia, Ecuador, and Chile. She also studies the relationship between smuggling and violence in the Andean region.

Her work has been published in Comparative Politics (forthcoming), Qualitative Sociology Review (forthcoming), Development, and Revista de Ciencia Política.
