Academic of the Catholic University in a vacancy shared between the Department of Computer Science and the Institute of Mathematical and Computational Engineering. She has a degree and a Master’s in Physics from the University of Chile and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. She held a postdoctoral position in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. Her first investigations were in the area of active fluids, to later dedicate to health data analysis. Her research focuses mainly on the generation of linguistic resources and tools for the detection of key information in texts in Spanish.
