Jocelyn Dunstan Escudero

Academic at the Catholic University in a joint position between the Department of Computer Science and the Institute of Mathematical and Computational Engineering. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in physics from the University of Chile and a PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Cambridge. She also completed postdoctoral studies in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. Her early research was in the area of active fluids, before moving on to health data analysis. Her research focuses mainly on the generation of linguistic resources and tools for detecting key information in Spanish texts. Associate Researcher at the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AC3E).
