Jocelyn Dunstan Escudero

Academic at Universidad Católica in a position shared between the Department of Computer Science and the Institute of Mathematical and Computational Engineering. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physics from Universidad de Chile and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. She also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. Her early research was in the area of active fluids, before turning to data analysis in health. Her research focuses mainly on the generation of linguistic resources and tools for detecting key information in Spanish-language texts. Associate Researcher at the Advanced Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AC3E).
